Thank you and well done, Liz!

We will soon be saying a fond farewell to Liz Hughes, who joined Gloucestershire Archives on a temporary basis earlier this year. Liz has done a brilliant job working through the local studies material transferred from the Cotswolds Room at Cheltenham Library. With funding for her role ending in three weeks’ time, we would like to thank her for everything she has contributed.

Alongside her work with us, Liz has been voluntarily developing a first aid course for people caring for someone with dementia. Her work is celebrated in a recent county council press release and accompanying short video. Read the press release and watch the video.

Thank you and well done, Liz! It has been a real pleasure working with you, and we wish you every success for the future.
