Secrets Revealed: The Census

A leisurely lunchtime learning session led by the experienced team at Gloucestershire Archives revealing secrets of the past.

In connection with the 2021 National Census, the first in these monthly sessions unlocks the history of the first ever Census, dispels the myth of the most famous Census of all time connected to the birth of Jesus, and provides more detail and information about the Census of today.

Easy to digest and laced with humour these online seminars are full of headline facts, extra information and deeper context, to ensure that those both those new to history hunting or bona fide history buffs will come away having learned something new and inspired to find out more in their own time afterwards.
