Welcome to the July 2023 edition of the Heritage Hub e-newsletter
We begin this edition with a major thank you to the National Lottery Heritage Fund for their grant of £246,800 for our ‘Green Pledge’ project to record the county’s environmental legacy and help drive forward climate action. There will be plenty of opportunities to get involved in environmental and heritage activities over the two-year project. For those interested in joining our team in a paid capacity we will shortly be advertising for a Project Manager, a Project Officer and a Cataloguing Archivist. As soon as we have appointed a Project Manager we will also be advertising for Learning & Outreach and Evaluation freelancers, as well as an Apprentice Archives Assistant. The job adverts are now live on the Gloucestershire County Council jobs site and will also be shared via our social media.
There are plenty of exciting heritage events to take part in over the summer and we look forward to seeing you at some of these.
