Autumn 2018

Gloucestershire Heritage Hub

Welcome to the eighth edition of the Heritage Hub newsletter

Steady progress is being made on our building project.   The site is due to be completed by Christmas 2018 following a slight hiatus as our contractors, Lakehouse, were bought by Haig CM.

We were pleased to welcome 426 visitors to our community open day on Sunday 2nd September. And from 3rd September we introduced our new – extended - opening hours.

  • Monday – pre-booked volunteer groups only, 10-4.30
  • Tuesday – 9.00 – 4.30
  • Wednesday – 9.00 – 4.30
  • Thursday – 9.00 – 4.30
  • Friday – 9.00 – 4.30
  • Saturday – first Saturday of each month, 9.00 – 4.30. The first Saturday opening will be 6th October 2018.

Please check our website for details of the Saturday openings as we are offering events and/or family friendly activities alongside the traditional service to encourage new audiences.   We are equally keen that the first Saturdays are well used by our existing audiences too.

Meanwhile I’d like to thank all our customers for their patience whilst we have been operating from a building site.
